There are dedicated,admirable men and women at service in the L.A.P.D., but they have a really stupid pursuit policy. It's thanks to this policy and its gift to me of an incomplete spinal cord injury
that I'm writing this blog.
I'm not the only example of such collateral damage and it could have been worse.
I'm neither quadraplegic nor paraplegic. I can walk slowly, with difficulty and embarassing clumsiness.
Most importantly, I'm alive. That's the subject of this blog; being alive and continuing to enjoy it.
The Segseat allows me to use a Segway HT. I can stand when I'm able but keep rolling while seated.
This combination allows me to experience the exhilaration of unrestricted motion for the first time in ten years.
